LG OLED TV is a new design and WebOS – hifi News.RU

In January at CES 2014 (for more details on the event), LG promised start in 2014, the release of new models of OLED TVs, and that’s a novelty with a resolution of Full HD on sale soon. 55-inch TV 55EC9300 different new design and a new promising smart TV platform WebOS.

The starting price for Full HD OLED TV LG 55EC9300 (55EC930V in Europe) is expected to reach $ 4999 in selling it starting next month.

55EC9300 (55EC930V) is the successor to the current 55EA9800. The updated design not found a place that replaces a desktop stand, a transparent plastic base.

55EC930V has a higher refresh rate of 200 Hz, which should improve the playback picture in the dynamics and give a little higher brightness. In addition, OLED TV is running an operating system WebOS, which is a new Smart TV platform company LG.

maximum optimized user interface and believes that WebOS will bring smart TVs to the next level. New LG 55EC9300 will be available in August.
