Moscow, April 28. Over the past weekend in the Russian capital two children suffered from fallen TVs: one died, the other is in intensive care. By coincidence, both accidents occurred in the north-east of the capital.
Told “BaltInfo” GU MVD in Moscow, on Sunday around 13.30 GMT, in an apartment on Prospect Mira 122 month-old boy playing in the room and pulled the tablecloth, which stood on a sideboard TV. One falling from a height of about one meter, hit the child’s head. After some time, the
similar incident occurred on Saturday in an apartment on the snowy street. As told the “BaltInfo” a law enforcement source, the boy aged 1 year 8 months playing in the room, also pulled the tablecloth and it fell off the nightstand TV. A child with a broken roof and base of the skull taken to the intensive care unit, where doctors continued to fight for his life. The boy’s parents – immigrants from one of the countries of the Middle East – as in the time of the accident were in the apartment, but went into another room. According to them, the child liked to climb on the bedside table, where there was a TV, and rock it.
