“TV” – one of the most iconic groups of Petersburg ’80s rock – April 13 will give a big jubilee concert. And at the same time present and reissue his albums: “Smoke-Mist” and “Two”.
Both albums re-release label “Geometry”, expanding their previously unreleased tracks, among which were rare and video recording concerts and studio performance of two songs The Beatles – I’m The Walrus and Run For Your Life, the prepared with a very liberal attitude to the originals. But the collective soloist Mikhail Borzykin seems never felt any special reverence for authority … He and the group considered the sole leader, he wrote songs, made their arrangements on the computer, describing the party all the tools that are not always like his colleagues. As a result, the guitarist of the “golden composition” Alexander Belyaev went to the “Nautilus Pompilius” and “normal” keyboardist Igor Babanov generally left music, became an English teacher.
“Smoke-Mist” and “Two” – latest albums “Golden Collection”, “TV” regularly gets in radio airplay. For the presentation of their reissues Michael Borzykin even arrive in Moscow early: in the day of the concert, at 14.00, he will hold an autograph session at the popular music lovers club store “House of Culture”.
The first of these “new old drives” was a transition from the poster-guitar rock to electronic. And as a guitarist showed up here Sergei Bogdanov of the cult group “St. Petersburg.” Next – “Two” – actually introduced a new musical style synth-rock. This work group over the sound, assertiveness and emotional feeding compositions, their sweeping and depth in those years would have envied themselves Depeche Mode … But then gone already and keyboardist Konstantin Shumaylov – DDT. And Michael Borzykin, which once again left all the supporters continued their complex mental confusion in the music, without the success of the former. But the money for the celebration of the anniversary, fans of the group collected from different cities.
Hits 80: “Since you said TV”, “Your dad fascist”, “Three or four reptile”, “Fatherland illusions” “Procession of the fish” should sound in the block, which itself Borzykin called “nostalgic”. But everyone is waiting for, of course, and Constantine Shumailova … Wilco and a completely new song – “Just be a nobody”, with key, probably for Borzykina words: “nobody proud” and “spit on the border” …
