Monitor diagonal exceeds the mark of 30 inches, the market is small. Most of these models resolution is 2560×1600 pixels – at a ratio of 16:10. Then you can select a model with trendy 4K (3840×2160, 16: 9), and versions with more conventional 2560×1440 resolution and an aspect ratio of 16: 9, there exists only a few. It is in the latter category and relates our guinea, Acer B326HUL.

Screen resolution, as we have said, is 2560×1440 pixels (WQHD), and at 32 inches diagonally magnitude PPI is found to be 91.79. This means that the objects on the screen Acer B326HUL will look a little larger than the displays with a diagonal of 27 inches, which is the usual solution. As for the brightness characteristics, the declared maximum monitor brightness is 300 cd / m 2 – it is the default value. With viewing angles from Acer B326HUL everything should be ok – if we judge by the official website, they are 178 degrees vertically and horizontally.
The monitor uses a matrix type AMVA LED backlit production AU Optronics – model M320DVN01. 0. Typically, static contrast with these matrices is several times higher than the IPS-panels, but Acer reason decided not specify this parameter specifications. The site shows only the dynamic contrast ratio, traditionally huge – 100 million: 1. However, static contrast can be found in the specifications of the matrix itself. According to the manufacturer (AUO), it is 3000: 1. This is three times higher than that of the best modern IPS-screen.
As for the brightness of the sub-pixels, then they are encoded by 8 bits using the technology of FRC (the result is 10 bits), which means that the monitor can display up to 1 billion colors. More interesting things with the response time. On the Acer website, see figure – 6 ms, but does not say how it was measured. If we again look at the specifications of AUO, there you can find information about that response time matrix switching from white to black and back (BtW) is 12 ms, and with the rise of the signal (from black to white) and fall (from white to black) – 7 and 5 msec, respectively. Unfortunately, the response time for switching from gray to gray (GtG) remained unknown.
As for the price of the display, at the time of this writing in the Russian retail market, this monitor is not met. But, according to Acer, the estimated retail price of 24,990 rubles.

Awareness sizes Acer B326HUL comes after a first look at the packaging: it very, very large. In fact, it is not surprising – the diagonal of the monitor requires.

Ports as traditionally arranged parallel to the plane of the screen. On the left side of the monitor is a power connector and switch Power, while the right part contains all the other ports. In particular, there are Dual-Link DVI-D, DisplayPort and a pair of HDMI. Apart from these, on this side is a 3.5mm audio jack for audio output from the PC, one USB 3.0 Type B (for PC) and two USB 3.0 type A to connect peripheral devices. But the headphone jack of the display was not found.
On the left side of the monitor also has a pair of USB 3.0 ports type A. All ports – and to the left, and on the rear panel – allow you to charge your smartphone or tablet, even when the monitor is off, if you activate the menu the appropriate option. As for the right side of the monitor, there is nothing interesting on it there.
In this cooler is adjustable for height and tilt. Its screen can be raised to a height of 15 centimeters, and in this position it can be deflected by an angle of -5 (forward) to 25 degrees (back). But if you lower the screen below, the upper limit of the inclination is reduced to 20 degrees – the screen will rest on its own stand.
