Moscow, January 21 – Moscow AIF. CEO Russian Public Television (OTP) Anatoly Lysenko said that due to financial difficulties the channel in the next two months, the staff of editors will be halved.
«we have a lot of plans, but they all rest on one thing: the financial situation today is that somewhere within two months we have to reduce by half the company” – quoted by Interfax Lysenko.
He noted that a significant part of the state TV channel composed of staff of technical specialties, which are not subject to reductions, so layoffs will be made at the expense of the creative component.
