Joint television viewing strengthens a romantic relationship. This was stated by the psychologists from the University of Aberdeen according to a survey of more than 250 men and women who were in serious relationships.
Volunteers were asked how close they were with their partner and a lot for them meant a relationship. Even the participants were told how often they watched TV shows, films together with a partner, read the
same books, as well as how many mutual friends they had. 
As it turned out, the participants more often believed that close with their partner, if they watched TV or read the same books, reports The Daily Mail.
