Panasonic has already repeatedly demonstrated prototypes of OLED-TVs, but this time the visitors of IFA 2015 in Berlin could not see the prototype and the finished commercial product that will go on sale in October the price of 10 000 euros. But even at the January Consumer Electronics Show producer denied having had any specific plans about this market segment, which in the past three years, dominated by LG.

We are talking about a curved OLED-TV Viera TX- 65CZ950 with a diagonal of 65 inches, which is by far the world’s only certified according to THX OLED-TV with a resolution of Ultra HD. Among other characteristics of the Panasonic Viera TX-65CZ950 note support for HDR, and cover more than 90% color space DCI. Thus for the image quality meets a number of proprietary technologies (4K Studio Master Processor and others).

It is also noteworthy that in the creation of TV participated Mike Soua (Mike Sowa) – Hollywood colorist, engaged in color correction of such films as “Oblivion” and “insurgents.” His collaboration with engineers Panasonic was to identify the slightest deviation in the transmission color when testing the prototype model.

The design of Panasonic Viera TX-65CZ950 developers also have to work hard, which can be seen on The above photographs taken by our correspondent immediately at IFA 2015.
