The Chinese company Xiaomi officially unveiled its first Smart TV with a screen of concave shape of a series of Mi TV 3S. Model called Curve has a 65-inch 4K-matrix made by Samsung and a record low thickness.
New feature quad-core chip MStar 6A928 to graphics controller Mali-T760, 2 GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory, 8 GB of flash memory eMMC 5.0 speaker system with support for Dolby DTS standard. The device’s operating system – Android with a proprietary shell MIUI. Despite the impressive performance, the TV thickness of only 5.9 mm, which is even less than the iPhone 6s. In the Chinese market, the cost of the curved Mi TV 3S Curve is 9000 yuan (at current exchange rates about 95 000 rubles).
In a series Mi TV 3S there several times cheaper budgetary model TV-based 43-inch FullHD LCD panel (manufactured by LG or AUO) and hardware platform Mstar 6A908. It also has the speaker system supports Dolby DTS standard, but almost twice as thick curved patterns – its thickness is 10.9 mm. There is such a television in terms of rubles about 19 000.
Currently, TVs are only available in the Chinese market, and whether the company Xiaomi to sell them in other countries, is still unknown.
