Television is an important part of your life and the lives of your children – entertains and can learn a lot. But it appears that an excess of television advertising of certain products may prevent proper nutrition. In addition, limiting the “screen” time, you can help your children to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Studies have shown that prolonged television viewing associated with overweight and obesity in children.

  • Do not give in to the requests and entreaties of the child to buy him those foods or sweets that show on TV.
  • Explain to your child why it is harmful to him.
Even if your child does not eat in front of the TV, you still should limit the time spent in front of him. The so-called “screen time” (TV, computer, etc.) should not exceed 1-2 hours per day for children of all ages!
