In the local area Pudozh accused of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to the victim’s health, dangerous to human life.
As established by the investigation, the defendant, while intoxicated, broke into the house of his friend and of his personal dislike beat him. The attacker shot the victim, who was lying on the couch, TV, causing rib fractures and other injuries.
According to the law of a crime in a state of intoxication caused by alcohol, a court may declare an aggravating
circumstance, which is why the offender may be imposed more severe punishment. Maximum penalties can be 8 years imprisonment. 
A criminal case has been referred to Pudozhsky District Court for trial on the merits, according to prosecutor’s office of Karelia.
