CES 2015: TV Philips Smart Laser Backlight UHD TV received laser illumination – Ferra

Philips has demonstrated at CES 2015 in Las Vegas TV Smart Laser Backlight UHD TV. It provides a high-resolution image UHD 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels). TV, but the blue and white LED backlight is also equipped with a red laser to provide more accurate color reproduction and a wider color range. The company has taken care about quality sound: on both sides of the TV there are high and narrow detachable speakers.

Thanks to the interface Philips Smart TV allows you to watch a new television video content from

services such like YouTube, Vudu, Pandora, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, and support Miracast allows you to take your media files from your smartphone.

Issue Philips Smart Laser Backlight UHD TV on sale in May of this year. Will be presented in two versions of this device: the display with a diagonal of 60 inches or 58 inches. Modification of the TV with 58-inch display will cost $ 3,000, and a 60-inch display – $ 3500.
