Asus has released a new smartphone, and it is, unfortunately, not Zenfone 3. The novelty is called Asus Zenfone Go TV , and although she has a rather mediocre performance, another interesting feature in this smartphone still there – it is equipped with a digital TV tuner that can receive television broadcasting (though not in all countries) .
Smartphone Asus Zenfone Go TV is equipped with a TV tuner Sony SMT-EW100, which allows you to receive a digital signal in DVB-T format, DVB-T2, ISDB-T and ISDB-Tmm. In other words, the smartphone will be able to make television in Asia, the Middle East, South America and Europe, including in Russia.
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, covered with glass Gorilla Glass 3. The Asus Zenfone Go TV SoC platform is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM . Built-in memory can be set to 16 or 32 GB and can be expanded using microSD memory cards.
On the back of the smartphone is located a 16-megapixel camera, while the front – 5-megapixel. There are modules WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0, supports 4G LTE networks and built-in battery capacity is 3010 mAh. It works on all Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Smartphone Asus Zenfone Go TV is already on sale in Taiwan for about $ 170, and the availability in other countries yet unknown.
