Today’s children prefer TV Cinema – Cinema Teatr.ru

Nonprofit Partnership «Shaw Group Ex-BB» in March this year conducted a study in the framework of the project “Children’s cinema: the formation of man and citizen”, which showed that trips to the cinema in the children’s activities occupy only 8 seats in addition with reading books.
Based on the data obtained in 9 regions of Russia (Tatarstan, Vladimir region, Kaliningrad region, Republic of Karelia, the Khabarovsk Territory, the Altai Territory, Stavropol region, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow), the research company Movie Research to draw a conclusion that today’s children prefer to walk into a movie theater campaigns: 39,4% of the respondents against the 14,3% .

At the same time to spend time at the computer choose 31,4% young respondents, which means that in total almost 80% of free time children spend on the audio-visual entertainment, while reading a book – 14,3 % .

Among the children who attend cinemas, 83,1% make it at least a few times in 3 months, so the Movie Research carries viewers under the age of 14 years to an active theatrical audience.
