In March 2014 there were changes in the on enforcement legislation, one of which is connected with the provision of the rights of the debtor independently realize their property if its value does not exceed 30 thousand rubles, Sakh.com news agency reported with reference to the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Sakhalin region.

The results of the application of this innovation proves its effectiveness. Since the beginning of the year made 303 arrests in the Sakhalin region bailiffs in which seized assets subject to self-realization of debtors totaling 1.123 million rubles. Using this law, the debtor under the executive production of various categories of debt repaid in the amount of more than 890 thousand rubles, which is 78% more than in the same period last year.

For example, a resident of the regional center to pay a fine for an administrative offense in the amount of 30 thousand rubles, having realized the arrested TV and mobile phone. Also, through the implementation of a mobile phone the debtor repaid the debt in a similar enforcement proceedings resident Dolinsk.

Russian Federal Bailiff Service for Sakhalin region encourages citizens to voluntarily perform in a timely manner the requirements of court orders in order to avoid the application of coercive measures.
