Famous compatriots Vladimir Makoveev - Ossetian radio and television

Among the prominent people who brought fame for his work Ossetia, the name of Vladimir G. Makoveeva rightly takes its rightful place.

Makoveev Vladimir was born May 18, 1938 in Mozdok, in a house on the street Sokolowski, 48. At this address he lived until July 1955, until he left to study in Moscow.

Upon his retirement, he served on the railway in Derbent in Mozdok. Parents of Vladimir were agriculturists. Mother, Valentina Zelevich, graduated from the Agricultural Institute Gorski in Vladikavkaz, after the war was in charge of the department of cotton in the district executive committee, worked as chairman of one of the farms. Father Grigory Makoveev graduated from Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute. After the war he worked in the field of head of transhumance grazing and underpasses Kizlyar district (based in Mozdok, and then – in paragraph Kotchoubey in Dagestan).

In 1960, Vladimir Makoveev radiofakultet graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Electrical Communication (MEIS), and in 1964 – correspondence postgraduate study at the same institute.

For 7 years he worked there, and head of the Laboratory department head. With the commencement of installation to commissioning of the entire complex was the chief engineer of the all-Union television station (now the TTC – TV-Technical Center).

In 1970 – 1978 he served as Director Makoveev All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Television and Radio. In 1991 he became deputy chairman of the USSR State Committee for Cinematography.

Since 1992, Vladimir Makoveev worked as deputy chairman of the Russian State Television and Radio Company “Ostankino”, from 1994 – the assistant, and from 1996 to 2000 – first deputy head of the Russian Federal Service for Television and Radio.

From this position of public service, he went “down” in age. In subsequent years, was an adviser to the Ministry for Press, Broadcasting and Mass Communications, Head of the Department of Humanities Institute of television.

B. Makoveev has published about 300 scientific works, including 11 books, has registered 4 of the invention. He was a member of the International Academy of Information and the Russian Academy of Electrical Sciences, and the American Society of Cinema and Television (SMPTE).
