Public television has spent all the money - KM.RU

Director General of Russian Public Television (OTP) Anatoly Lysenko admitted that its media budget has completely dried up. Channel quoted the head of the RDA.

«How are we going to continue to live, I do not know” – said Lysenko. According to him, it is worth to believe the rumors that the OTP can exist on donations.

Earlier on July 23, “Interfax” reported that the head of Rospechat Michael Seslavinskiy listed channel 100 thousand rubles. Until that moment, OTR managed to collect about 50,000 rubles in donations.

Channel began broadcasting in May 2013. It is positioned as a social media created with the initiative of the state.

new media aired without commercials. Initially it was assumed that it will be able to manage the financing of the budget, but in March it became known about the lack of money for broadcasting.

Then the Russian senators asked the inhabitants of the regions with the proposal to give OTP 40-50 rubles per year. Later this idea was not developed.

In late May, Lysenko announced that the funds provided by the state, will last until the end of the summer. Prior to that, he said he did not feel the support of the authorities.
