Danish TV has received a national award for journalism for his reporting on tax deviators - TASS-Telecom

COPENHAGEN, January 10. / Correspondent. ITAR-TASS Nikolai Morozov /. The winner of the most prestigious journalism award for Denmark in 2013 was a group of journalists Danish TV / DR / for a series of reports on tax deviators.

Award consists of a bronze statue of the famous Danish journalist, editor in chief of the newspaper “Politiken” Henrik Kavlinga / 1858-1933 years / and 20 thousand euros / $ 3.6 thousand /. It was founded December 18, 1944 in connection with the 40th anniversary of Danish journalists. According to the statute, the award “is awarded annually to a journalist or group of journalists who have shown initiative and talent”.

At this year’s award were nominated Kavlinga six bidders. Among them – the two editors of the newspaper “Jyllands-Posten” published a book about the roots of the financial crisis in Denmark “Other people’s money”, three journalists from the same newspaper that published a series of articles about the agent of the Danish Security and Counterintelligence / PET / Mortain storm that was introduced in the international terrorist organization.
