 British scientists have talked about common everyday small pleasures and their impact on people’s lives, reports BBC Future. In particular, we are talking about smoking, wine, TV, sausages, coffee and training.

 Experts say that people who smoked 20 cigarettes a day shorten their lives for seven years. That is, each cigarette takes 15 minutes.

 Two hours a day, that person spends watching television, lead to life reduction on the year before. If you eat two hot dogs on a daily basis, it is possible to achieve a similar effect.

 Three glasses of wine a day reduces the life of men for four months, and women – 16 months

 Among the useful pleasures – Training. Doing daily exercises lasting 20 minutes a day, the man prolongs his life for two years.

 Drinking 2-3 cups of coffee a day lengthens human age by one year.

 At the same time, scientists stress that the beneficial enjoyment do not cut losses from bad habits, and should be in all sense of proportion.
