Panasonic has developed a transparent TV – BBC News

The Japanese Panasonic has developed a transparent TV. Running the sample device shown at the International Consumer Electronics Show Consumer Electronics Show, held from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, US.

TV is a LED panel with a diagonal of 65 inches. The display is switched off resembles a translucent cabinet door or just an element of the decor, which is easy to fit into any interior. The owner can even embed a TV out of the window and change the types as desired.

The Panasonic suggest that these TVs will be widely used primarily for commercial purposes, wherever you need as efficiently as possible to attract the attention of passers-by – for example, in shopping centers and showrooms.
