Finnish TV switches to Russian language - RBC - RBC.Ru

public broadcaster YLE Finland launches news in Russian. It intends to present on the Internet, radio and television Russian-language news about what is happening in the world of Finland and the Finnish point of view, according to the website YLE.

Journalists Russian edition will pay special attention to the issues of bilateral relations between Moscow and Helsinki. News will come out in Russian with Finnish subtitles.

first release will take place on May 13. News in Russian will conduct known television and radio journalist Levan Tvaltvadze and his colleagues – Kate Liukkonen and Love Shalygina.

In Finland, there are more than 50 thousand Russian-speaking residents. We also add that the editors intend to extend the work of the English-language edition.
