“In the last phase of the transition to digital broadcasting at the end of October will be completely turned off analogue terrestrial television network, and instead of terrestrial television broadcasting will be introduced digital terrestrial television broadcasting – MinDig TV”, – said the telecommunications company.
Since July 31, the first phase of the transition from analog to digital broadcasting, the innovation was introduced in 14 of the 20 regions of Hungary.
Programs that are broadcast by digital terrestrial television signals, unlike analog accepted almost all over Hungary (99% of the territory).
Digital technology provides better picture quality and sound, free access to seven instead of the former three television channels, as well as a variety of convenient services for viewers.
After cessation of analog broadcasting on November 1 Hungarian viewers will get free and paid access to all 31 channels of digital television format.
