MOSCOW, Oct. 16 – RIA Novosti. The members of the Presidential Human Rights Council (HRC) will consider holding spetszasedaniya on the issue of freedom of the Internet and discuss the situation with the Public Television at the meeting of the Standing Committee on Freedom of Information and Human HRC journalists on Wednesday.
As the head of the commission Elena Masuk, a meeting will put those questions that do not have time to discuss at the meeting of the Council of 11 October.
“This is a continuation of the meeting on the 11th, we decided not <...> We have two questions: conducting spetszasedaniya on Internet freedom and about public television,” – said Masuk.
Perhaps the commissioners will discuss the situation with the arrest and arraignment on charges of piracy Denis Sinyakova photojournalist who shot Greenpeace action on an oil platform “Prirazlomnaja” and was detained along with activists of the organization. Previously, the commission stated that he regarded it as the pressure on the media.
