situation in Greece is heating up again. People are protesting against the government, which has found a new way to save. Authorities closed the state broadcasting corporation EFV – the seven TV channels and many radio stations. Without work there were nearly 3,000 people. Instead of a closed corporation planned to create a new smaller-scale and non-state media structure. The decision of the authorities condemned most political parties, including two of three in the ruling coalition. The opposition calls the move perervorotom state. Employees EFV turned to their viewers and listeners to ask for support. At corporate headquarters in Athens gathered hundreds of people, including well-known activists and lawyers. Against the representatives of the authorities of the Church, they are referred to as anti-democratic measures pravitelstva and laid-off workers – victims of expediency and corruption.
The Greek government recently consistently introduces austerity on the advice of international creditors – the EU, the ECB and the IMF.
